The U.S. Small Business Administration recently recognized Great Western Bank as a top lender in the state of Iowa for Fiscal Year 2011.
Great Western Bank over the year approved 28 SBA guaranteed loans worth over $14.8 million to small businesses in Iowa.

Overall in Iowa, the SBA guaranteed 674 loans for $293.6 million during Fiscal Year 2011, which ended September 30, 2011.
