Great Western Bank opens first Loveland branch

LOVELAND - Great Western Bank opened its 20th Colorado branch last month in east Loveland.

The bank at 3800 E. 15th St., on the northwest corner of East Eisenhower Boulevard and Boyd Lake Avenue, had its soft opening in March and its grand opening April 2, according to branch manager Ted Ray.

The South Dakota-based bank has 200 locations in seven Midwestern and Western states, including two branches in Fort Collins, and is growing, Ray said.

The Loveland branch, in the building formerly occupied by United Western Bank, has three full-time employees, he said.

Great Western offers all types of lending and business banking, Ray said, and has an agribusiness lending department.

Its lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and its drive-up is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
