Our Roots
How we began
Agriculture has always been at the root of who we are. From the first loan made to a farmer back in 1907, Great Western Bank has evolved from a small town bank to a regional leader with over 100 locations.
Deep Roots
Along with a deep love of the land, National Australia Bank (NAB) has a proven global agribusiness record, 150 years to be precise.
So when the opportunity to join the NAB Group presented itself in 2007, we jumped at the chance to provide our customers the benefits of global expertise and an international network.
Not Your Garden Variety Agribusiness
We continually ask ourselves how we can serve our customers better. What if we created not just another place to obtain financing, but a new approach to making agribusiness great? And not just the finance part of it—all of it.
The idea began taking on a life of its own and Great Western Bank Agribusiness was created. We're turning the process on its head. You don't have to fit into our products, we tailor them to you. Financial solutions are built from a deeper understanding of what you want to achieve. We'll establish long-lasting local relationships that also include access to global specialists in your specific industry segment. Now that's understanding what you really need.
