Great Western Bank recently held an internal fitness contest to encourage health and exercise. Each winning team donated a Nintendo Wii game system to a charity. The Flab Five of 180th & Center Walmart in Omaha presented their Wii to the Children's Hospital new OT/PT Clinic.
The game system will be used for balance, mobility, and overall low-level engaging activity. It will also make events and programs more fun. Like the "Wii-hab" baseball tournament where PT patients challenge PT physicians. And, within the next year, the clinic will be starting a program to battle childhood obesity, incorporating the system and the game "Wii Fit."
