At Great Western Bank, we are making paying your bills online easier. The upgrade to your Online Bill Pay account is now complete. Please refer to the Q & A's below, or call your banker at any time if you have additional questions.
When was my Online Bill Pay account upgraded?
Great Western Bank's Online Bill Pay system was upgraded over the weekend of November 6, 2009.
FOR CUSTOMERS IN NEBRASKA, SOUTH DAKOTA, IOWA, MISSOURI AND KANSAS
Your access was restored on Monday, November 9th. You now have access to the new Online Bill Pay system.
FOR CUSTOMERS IN COLORADO AND ARIZONA
There have been no interruptions to your Online Bill Pay account. You may notice slight changes to your account or the way you access your account (see below).
FOR CUSTOMERS IN NEBRASKA, SOUTH DAKOTA, IOWA, MISSOURI AND KANSAS

FOR CUSTOMERS IN COLORADO AND ARIZONA
There have been no interruptions to your Online Bill Pay account. You may notice slight changes to your account or the way you access your account (see below).
Did my Online Bill Payments still go through as scheduled on November 4th - November 9th?
Payments scheduled from November 4th through November 6th were made on the old Online Bill Pay system as scheduled. Payments scheduled on November 7th and 8th are being made on the new system beginning Monday, November 9th.
If this processing date does not allow sufficient time, please reschedule your payments as soon as possible, if you have not done so. Once you have accessed the new Online Bill Pay system on Monday, November 9th, you may begin scheduling bills to be processed for payments due on or after November 12th.

How do I log-in to the new system?
After Monday, November 9th, you can access the new Online Bill Pay system using the following steps:
FOR CUSTOMERS IN NEBRASKA, SOUTH DAKOTA, IOWA, MISSOURI AND KANSAS
1. Go to GreatWesternBank.com and log-in to Online Banking.
2. Once logged in, click on the Bill Pay tab.
3. Click on the Consumer or Business Bill Pay Log In button.
4. Enter the User ID and PIN/Password that was sent on October 26, 2009, from Great Western Bank.
5. You’ll be prompted to answer a few personal questions for security purposes. You should also change your password at this time.
FOR CUSTOMERS INCOLORADO AND ARIZONA
1. Go to GreatWesternBank.com and log-in to Online Banking.
2. Once logged in, click on the Bill Pay tab.
3. Click on the Consumer or Business Bill Pay Log In button.
4. Enter your current User ID and PIN Password.
NOTE: You will no longer need to access Online Bill Pay from a separate log-in; both Online Banking and Online Bill Pay can be accessed from the main log-in on GreatWesternBank.com.

Did my Payees and Bill Pay history carry over to the new system?
We have made every effort to carry Payees over to the new Online Bill Pay system. Please check your Payees and scheduled payments to verify payment amounts and due dates. Also, please validate that payment methods, whether electronic or by check, are correct. In some cases, these methods may have changed. If you discover any discrepancies, you may correct them on your own or contact your banker if you are having issues.
Your Online Bill Pay history does not carry over from the old system. Going forward, the new system will save your payment history for a maximum of 18 months.

Have processing times changed with this new system?
Payment processing times will remain the same on the new system – 2 to 3 days for electronic payments and 5 to 7 days for payments made by check.
Are there transaction limits I should be aware of?
Initial transactions are limited to $9,999.99.
What is the cut-off time for bill payments?
Cut-off time for payment processing is 3:00 p.m. CST. All payments made after 3:00 p.m. CST will be processed the following business day.
What can I do with this new Online Bill Pay system that I couldn't do before?
In addition to a new look, this upgraded Online Bill Pay system offers new features to help you pay bills faster and with more convenience. Watch the Online Bill Pay Demos to see them in action.
What about business Online Bill Pay customers?
Business Online Bill Pay customers will see the same changes and added functionality as personal Online Bill Pay customers; however, business customers will also have a secondary log-in and password provided by Great Western Bank.
