Lincoln Nebraska employees donated books to the children's hospital

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
The health, safety and well-being of our customers, employees and communities continues to be our top priority. Due to varying safety recommendations in the areas surrounding our branches, some locations are open to the public, while others remain open by appointment only. All drive-thru services and hours remain unaffected. Please use our Lobby Reopening Schedule to determine if an appointment is required before your visit. We will be updating the list regularly. Please avoid branch lobby visits if you are sick, have been exposed to the virus, or have traveled to a high-risk area.

Rest assured, we are deeply committed to being responsive to the needs of all of our customers. We appreciate your understanding during this time.

Over 100 Random Acts of Kindness

This October, employees in our Lincoln, Southeast and Northeast Nebraska territories were each given $5.00 with the simple ask to perform a Random Act of Kindness in their community.

Some branches pooled their resources, some added their own treasure to the initial $5.00, and some sought opportunities close to their hearts.

No matter the approach, the impact was over 100 Random Acts of Kindness performed.

The outcomes ranged from:

  • Donating coloring books to the pediatric center
  • Supplying a deserving family with pumpkins and carving kits
  • Creating and distributing care packages to the homeless
  • Delivering baked goods to the local fire station
  • Distributing rolls of quarters at the Laundromat…and so the list continues.

As community stewards, it is with great hope that an impact was made and that a purpose was served.

Care packages are being assembled

Employees at our Lincoln Havelock branch assembled care packages to be distributed at the local homeless shelter.  Content included a hat, Gatorade, hand warmers, and granola bars.
