Great Western Bank celebrates World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day is celebrated annually around the globe and encourages us to spread kindness like confetti. And this year, the Diversity & Inclusion Council at Great Western Bank challenged employees to make big differences in small ways by performing #GreatActsOfKindness in and around the communities we serve.

While kindness is important to us every day of the year, local bankers put an extra emphasis on performing random acts kindness through this initiative. Our branches took part in small but mighty things like providing treats to customers in our bank lobbies, and leaving unassuming motivational messages around town, to big impactful things like partnering with a local initiative to combat addiction, to hosting a donation drive for retirement communities, and even sending a care package overseas to a local marine.

Friday, November 15th concludes our #GreatActsOfKindness initiative; but it doesn’t have to end on Friday. With this one question each day, “What difference can I make?” – One person, one act, one gesture of kindness can make a difference – be an influencer and make a difference!
